  • Campervantastic
CamperVantastic began in 2006 and was the inspiration of Steve and Kate Lumley. Both experienced and seasoned travellers they have backpacked, camped, and travelled extensively across Europe, India, Africa and have also trekked in the mountains of Nepal and across the wilderness and glaciers of Alaska! It was following their amazing adventure in 2007, with their two small children, that they rediscovered their love of Europe and Campervanning Together with the assistance of their "Vantastic" crew they bring you a wealth of practical experience and an alternative way to travel, where you take control of when and where to go in the comfort of a well equipped campervan.

  • Hawkhurst Fish Farm
This uniquely quiet and tranquil venue on the boarders of Kent and Sussex , with its four main angling lakes is the perfect location for the big fish hunter, match angler and the pleasure angler alike. There are huge carp in three of the lakes and plenty of them for the specimen hunter. On the other hand the match angler has a long narrow lake ideal for pole fishing and full of average size carp with the odd Tench and Golden Orfe to fill most keep nets.

  • Bodiam Castle
One of the most famous and evocative castles in Britain, Bodiam was built in 1385, as both a defence and a comfortable home. The exterior is virtually complete and the ramparts rise dramatically above the moat. Enough of the interior survives to give an impression of castle life. There are spiral staircases and battlements to explore, and wonderful views of the Rother Valley from the top of the towers. In the impressive gatehouse is the castle's original wooden portcullis, an extremely rare example of its kind and only a short walk from the campsite.

We are a local business committed to offering genuine free range, grass fed, quality stock. Our methods of production from farm to table ensure a good animal welfare practice and excellent, quality stock to sell through the shop.
Our free range meats are also used in our homemade pies, pasties and other delicatessen items sold at the shop and at the farmers' markets. Traditional meat pies and puddings are our speciality for which we have won several awards

  • Camber Sands
In reality it's Camber, not Camber Sands. The sands are just the beach bit of Camber. Got it, good. I don't care either way but the old goats that have lived here forever seem bothered about it so I thought I'd just point it out. Camber has 7 miles of Blue Flag award winning beach. It has the only sand dune system in East Sussex and is a valuable habitat for many different animals and plants. The village of Camber is very close to the beach and the dunes system that exists today helps to protect it from the sea.
