Park Farm Site and Facilities

 

Park Farm Campsite is open from the beginning of April to the end of October each year. 

At Park Farm there is a wide choice of places where you may pitch your tent or park your caravan. 

You may also park your car adjacent to your pitch at no extra cost.

 

Please note: You will be asked to pay by cash on arrival.  There are NO credit/debit card facilities on

site and we are very sorry but we are no longer able to accept payment by cheque.

 

Campsite facilities include:

  • A number of electrical hook-ups.  Please contact us by phone/email or the 'Contact Us Form' to confirm availability.

  • Modern shower facilities are open between the hours of 6 am and 10.30 pm every day

  • Power points for hair dryers and electric razors

  • Toilets open all hours

  • Washing up area

  • Chemical disposal point

  • Waste collection and recycling bins

  • Gated intercom entry system

  • Children's play area with aerial runway

  • Warden on site (24 hours)

  • Small campfires and barbecues are permitted ( logs are sold on site)

  • Well behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times within the campsite area

  • Free fishing on the River Rother - we do not supply rod/line etc. You must have your own license

  • Walks along the river and surrounding farmland.  Including a 20 minute riverside walk to Bodiam Castle with gift shop, Pub and Steam Railway

 
Additional facilities nearby include:

  • A range of takeaway restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Fish & Chips and Pizza)

  • A Budgens supermarket open Mon - Sat until 10pm

  • Local Spar shop open until 9pm daily

  • Local Butcher and Baker

  • Chemist

  • Cinema

  • The Eight Bells Pub in Hawkhurst shows major football and rugby matches on Sky Sports

  • Fuel filling station

  • Banks/cash machines

  • Suppliers of camping gas and equipment are located in John's Cross and Hurst Green

  • Larger Supermarkets and stores will be found 8 miles south of the campsite in Hastings

  • Popular fresh fish stalls are located on the seafront in Hastings.
