Farm - Testimonials
After successfully operating Park Farm campsite for 30 years, Richard Bailey has
handed the management reins to daughter Lucinda and son-in-law Max.
Here are just a few of the testimonials we have received during this time.
Hello Lucinda and Max Just thought we would drop you a line to thank you and
your fantastic caretakers Marcia and Alan, for giving us 10 days of absolute
rest and relaxation at Park Farm.
Firstly we would like to say that Marcia and Alan should be commended for the
way that they run your site, ensuring the cleanliness is always top notch both
on the fields and in the showers/toilet block. They are both approachable and
friendly and represent your site in a very professional manner. Marcia and Alan
also ensured that the security and overnight patrols, did a very good job,
ensuring everyone on site had a memorable, safe stay.
As for your site, its just as the website describes. We are so glad we chose to
book here. The walk to Bodiam Castle is lovely, and well worth the walk, not
only for the castle, but the nice pint in the Castle Inn! We did miss not seeing
your crop of Sunflowers (perhaps we will see them next year?). During the week
the site was peaceful allowing us both to completely chill out, and the Friday
and Saturdays added a touch of festival fun. The site is so well positioned it
allows for some great days out to places such as Hastings, Rye, Camber,
Dungeness, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway etc.
We were that impressed, we have already recommended your site to family and
friends, who are coming to Park Farm next week.
We are both looking forward to returning in the near future and can't praise the
site enough.

Many thanks to parkfarm campsite,we stayed 1st weekend july 2010.fantastic
w'end. Loverly weather, toilets, showers so clean, spotless.ess.
Beautifull countryside for walks,kids had so much fun brilliant,and 2 mish and
jon best bacon rolls and chips. In fact my 45th b'day with all friends that came
stayed was the best ever. So thank you parkfarm.

Just to say thank you for yet another fantastic stay at your farm. The care
taking staff are excellent and really impressed us on the thursday when they
drove to the farm to get logs for us even though we were the only ones on site.
Shame glo lanterns are no longer allowed but very understandable

Just to say thanks so much for a great weekend – despite the weather.
This was our first visit, and the great camping atmosphere at Park camping is
something we will be raving about to our friends. Really friendly place, great
to have some grub available at your Café, lovely walk to Bodium.
Can you please book our caravan on electric hook up in your main field (we might
have some friends with tents join us) for the Aug Bank Holiday Fri,Sat and Sun.
If the main field is booked up, then where we were this weekend by the ‘Pirate
flag’ – top left, was fine.

Dear Max,
I have now been coming to Park Farm reguarly for about 5 years and I felt that I
must write to you to congratulate you on such a great site. It's great to find
somewhere so relaxing to spend my weekends away from London with my family. Keep
up the good work.

Hello,
This is the fourth time in 2 years that myself and friends have done our Dads
and kids weekend at your camp site and once again I have to say it was
terrific,with the added walk around security it made for a really chilled out
weekend.
We will be planning more trips to your site as the kids really enjoy the
woodland trips and messing by the river and their favourite is building the fire
for toasted marshmellows and ghost stories.
The upgraded washing and tiolet facilities are well done, thank you and see you
next year.

We have just got home and got the campfire clothes in the wash. Just wanted to
say Thankyou for all yr previous advice. We had a wonderfull time at park farm
and will definately be returnin asap. We will be recommending your site to
everyone We meet.

Hi just come back from camping at your site might I say that the caretakers
Marcia and Alan were very friendly and helpful they organised the site alot
better than when I was there the last time, The showers and the toilets are very
clean a pleasure to come camping on your site I will be back in the near future.

Dear Owners of Park Farm Campsite,
I have just returned from a weekend at your campsite.
I just wanted to say how impressed I was with your caretakers. I am sorry I
can't remember their names. They were always busy keeping the campsite clean and
tidy. They seemed to be continually cleaning the toilet facilities which were
consequently very clean. They were both extremely friendly and pleasant and
helpful. It was really useful to have people who were so approachable on the
site.
